Sustainability Policy
Kule Hotel & Spa Gaziantep has embraced sustainability across all of its operations and services — to protect the environment, to strengthen the bond between the natural and social worlds, to support the local community, and to leave a more livable world to future generations.
Our approach to sustainability means using clean and renewable energy sources in everything we do, improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, using water responsibly, and preventing waste in all its forms.
Kule Hotel & Spa Gaziantep assesses the current and future economic, social and environmental impact of all its activities. We consider the needs of our guests, our industry, the environment and the people who live in the region. In every destination where we operate, we protect cultural and natural heritage and create employment.
Social, environmental and economic sustainability are areas that actively shape — and are shaped by — one another, and together they create lasting value.
Our sustainability policy is to:
- Make sustainability part of our company culture and build awareness of it among both employees and stakeholders;
- Manage energy and natural resources effectively to increase resource efficiency across our operations;
- Minimize the environmental footprint of the materials and products we use, mindful of our impact on nature and biodiversity;
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
- Create high added value for the tourism industry through our products and services;
- Protect natural and cultural heritage;
- Ensure equality without discrimination on the grounds of religion, denomination, language, race, colour, gender, marital status, political opinion, age, disability or any similar characteristic;
- Put the occupational health and safety of our employees and stakeholders first;
- Create positive, harmonious working environments built on cooperation, where people of different beliefs, ideas and views can work together without conflict;
- Build relationships with our employees founded on trust and our ethical principles;
- Show zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form;
- Develop and support projects that advance the development, prosperity and economic and social progress of the regions where our hotels operate, acting with a sense of social responsibility and contributing to the community;
- Raise awareness by encouraging employees to volunteer for social and community initiatives;
- Increase local employment and empower the local community;
- Comply with all applicable legal requirements and with national and international standards;
- Work closely with our suppliers to improve our sustainability performance;
- Share our sustainability practices with our stakeholders regularly and transparently;
- Provide sufficient human, technological and financial resources to achieve our sustainability goals, and use those resources optimally;
- Continuously review and improve our sustainability performance.
